Diwali Greetings to All :)

While I'm not really a big fan of the 'Festival of Lights' and all the damage it causes to the environment, it's that auspicious time of the year and I'm just going to focus on the positives and leave the negatives for another time of the year :)

Here's a list of things I love about Diwali

  • Love how I get invited to fancy lunches and dinners everyday
  • Love how the house is so full of sweets, there is no place to walk
  • Love how I get to wear unreasonable amounts of bling
  • Love how the streets are all beautiful and lit up
  • But what i love the most is how it makes me :)

Lavender,

Read 2 posts now. I am so happy that you are taking up painting or sketching once again. Who know we may be lucky to have another Piccasso or Luxman with us now? Please do let us see some of your works. Diwali is fun and I agree with you on damage caused to environment. We need to be careful for that. Lights and feasting is all fine but tone down on crackers is a must.

Take care

Bling is a black word!! Doesn't really go with Diwali, does it? It also makes me wonder about your sense of attire :P

Haha true
But what I meant was all the sequins and mirror work on my kurta :P
